Where are you located? What are your hours?
Check the footer information at the bottom of every page of this Web site for our hours and a link to our directions page. We have a parking lot!
How much does it cost?
At The Work*Shop, we charge you only for the materials you use. We never charge a studio fee or for your time. Project prices range from $4 to $100, so there is something for every budget.
Really? You only charge for materials?
Well, we do charge for staff services, such as custom painting or finishing work (e.g. grouting.) But otherwise that's correct.
Is it for kids/adults?
Yes.
What's to eat/drink?
We offer complimentary coffee and tea. We are also fine with you bringing in your own food/beverages, provided you clean up after yourself.
Do you do birthday parties/showers/girl's night out?
Yes.
I have my grandmother's broken china/old necklace/photo I want to use to make something. What about that?
We are happy to work with you in this regard. As long as you are purchasing something from us (base, findings, etc.) you can bring in your own materials too.
Do I need a reservation?
No. We take walk-in crafters during any of our open hours. You may want to call ahead, especially on weekends, to be sure there is room, but no appointment is necessary.
You have mosaics? Cool! When are classes?
Although we offer classes, you do not need to take a class to try any of our standard walk-in art projects. Staff will be here to help you get started and to provide moral support. Just come on down and we'll get you crafting!
